Contura i51 Fireplace
The Contura i51 is a striking three-sided woodburning appliance featuring a convenient guillotine-style door, providing an excellent view of the fire from multiple angles.
With a nominal heat output of 8kW, the i51 can burn both seasoned wood logs and compressed timber heat logs, giving you flexibility over your choice of fuel. Its high efficiency means the appliance is DEFRA approved and Ecodesign 2022 compliant, making it suitable for use in smoke control areas.
The i51 is also highly controllable, allowing you to regulate the fire to suit your room, while its large viewing glass and powerful airwash system help keep the glass clear and provide an uninterrupted view of the flames. Overall, the Contura i51 combines impressive performance, modern Scandinavian styling and efficient solid-fuel burning in one exceptional appliance.

Deciding whether Contura i51 Fireplace fits the brief
The i51 is the statement model in this first Contura set. It belongs in bigger living rooms, open-plan renovations and projects where the fireplace is part of the architecture.
The three-sided flame view makes sense where the fire can be seen from several positions in the room.

An honest steer
How it compares with similar models
Choose the i51 over the 910 Style when the customer wants a built fireplace rather than a freestanding stove. Choose the i5L for a smaller inset installation.
Fitting it locally
Fitting the Contura i51 Fireplace in West Midlands homes
A serious option for larger homes around Lichfield, Sutton Coldfield, Solihull and Derby where the room can take both the 8kW output and the physical scale.
