Which fireplace opening is the T400 ECO designed around?
The published fit is a standard 16-inch opening. Existing masonry is measured before ordering because nominal opening sizes do not guarantee the required finished fit.
When would you choose T400 ECO BG instead of the standard T400 ECO?
The two versions use the same 5kW cassette format. T400 ECO has a framed face, while the BG version changes the front to black glass.
What hearth construction does the cassette require?
Its published hearth-temperature information means the existing hearth build must be checked rather than assuming a thin decorative slab is sufficient.
