Yoxall
The project
Yoxall is a beautiful quintessential English village and civil parish in Staffordshire. It is on the banks of the River Swarbourn on the A515 road north of Lichfield. Another perfect and picturesque drive from our woodburning stove showroom.
The Brief: Our client wanted to create a warm and inviting focal point that seamlessly complemented their chosen colour scheme and herringbone engineered timber floor through the use of natural, earthy tones and materials.
Before and after
The transformation

The work
What we did
Following the initial survey, we produced a detailed quotation itemising every component we were going to use. Once accepted, our Hetas-certified installation team got to work transforming the space in this Yoxall home. We enlarged the chimney breast chamber, then build in the herringbone rustic brick and laid the matching hearth. Within the chamber we used a soft warm white LED illumination to create a truly romantic glow around the earthy elements. Above you can see the large timber beam sat on the plain Edwardian styled corbels perfect grounding against the rich oak herringbone floor. The finished installation delivers a beautifully balanced, cozy aesthetic that elevates the entire living room while fulfilling every element of the client's vision.

Registration check
Verify Our HETAS Details Before Booking
When booking your stove installation with The Fireplace & Stove Co (TFS) or any installer, verifying registration details through the official HETAS directory ensures your project is fully compliant:
- Verify Business & Installer Status: Search the official HETAS online register to confirm that both the business and the individual attending engineer hold active, current registrations.
- Check Work Categories: Ensure the installer is specifically registered for your required work type (e.g., dry solid fuel appliance installation, internal twin-wall flue systems, or flexible chimney relining).
- Confirm Building Control Route: Work completed by a HETAS-registered competent person allows for self-certification under Building Regulations, saving you the time and expense of applying directly to your local council's Building Control department. If any part of the project falls outside their registered scope, a separate Building Control application must be arranged before work begins.
