Wood burning stove and oak beam mantel
A traditional wood burning stove fitted dead centre in a re-formed chamber, finished with a solid oak beam mantel.
This project started the way many of ours do, with a visit to the Lichfield showroom. The customers had been thinking about a stove for years and came in for a look and some honest advice. There was no pressure to decide, just answers to their questions and the chance to see the options in person before booking a free home survey.
On installation, the detail mattered. The original fireplace opening sat about an inch off centre, so the team set out the chamber and hearth so the stove itself reads dead centre in the room. The result is a traditional wood burning stove in a clean white-plastered chamber, topped with a solid oak beam mantel, fitted tidily with the home kept clean throughout.

The fitters are absolutely brilliant, on time, extremely respectful of our home. Our old fireplace was about an inch off centre (we never noticed) however they ensured the log burner was fitted dead centre and it really has made the difference. Attention to detail was perfect.
